Some pictures from a few days I spent in the French city of Nantes.
Theres nothing like exploring a new place on foot, particularly one like the historic city that straddles the river Loire, from which the region takes its name.
Like many of the best metropolis’, Nantes is a melding of the old world, and the new, giving classical architecture a clean, modern feel.
The most important thing, as anywhere else is the people. The multitude of people in Nantes are rather young, this being a university town, and typically French in their eye for style.
